I Installed it about a month ago, since then, when I add the glint effect, and adjust the glint effect, the program crashes. Is there any way to fix this?

I had aa problem similar to this.But when I tried to render it would always get stuck and the whole comp would crash.To be honest Vegas 9.0 only really has like 2 new effects,and they are not very good.I switched back to Vegas 8.0 after two weeks.
